The Write Synergies Tribe Challenges

If you are a writer, author, healer, soul-preneur, or Conscious Creator with a big vision to create and a message to share, someone who is overwhelmed and daunted by the process of getting the message out and getting the words right, then you are in the right place.

Are any of these your sticking places?

  • You have a draft of your project or the marketing copy, but you are struggling to find the right words for the message that really make it come alive.
  • You are bumping up against the  inner voice that says, “Who do you think you are to be offering this?”
  • You would love to find some support to help you get out of your own way so you can share your gifts.
  • You could use regular inspiration and motivation, reminding you that the “big famous people” also started out not that different from you.
  • You feel overwhelmed by all the ways to get out the message. You need a practical and doable plan.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a GPS system through all this?

Consider a personal guide and map-maker — like your own personal GPS system for your creative project and getting your message out — giving you practical and spiritual guidance for helping you get to where you want to go.

I support and mentor you — fellow visionaries, conscious creators, writers, authors, and healers — with your messages. We bring your big ideas to life and your projects and messages out to the world.

I’m using the Write Synergies Vision Quest process on myself. You’re seeing part of the process in action during this 30-day blogging challenge. I’m a writer who helps people with their marketing. Yet just like the shoemaker’s children getting their shoes last, it took me the better part of a decade as an independent writer and marketing consultant before I started my own online presence. Don’t do as I have done!

  1. haha. I love that comment to Steve. “so much easier to help others than to use it for ourselves”
We have an amazing collection of people and knowledge and so often we are the only thing holding ourselves back. hmmm. I know I often don’t follow my own advice and thought I was the only one.

on your blog post (oh, yeah commenting on the post, not just on comments – is this a message board? lol)I find myself stuck all the time, and I know my copywriting skills are not my strength, plus then I doubt worth of some projects, but I look around and compare and then think, wow, I really do have a lot to offer. (it’s a roller coaster in my brain sometimes)
thanks for sharing this. we’re all in this together.

    1. Rob,
Boy, I so relate to your roller coaster analogy. If you haven’t looked at Connie’s latest post on fear of rejection/not being good enough, it ties right into this. We all have profound gifts to share. The greatest healing starts with “heal thyself” (healing ourselves through and with our own gifts), then reaching out. For our gifts are so strengthened when we apply them to ourselves and our own situations first.
Keep up the great output and making the connections with your people.

  2. Great article Bobbye. I’m excited about all the new people I’ve met in the 30 day blogging challenge – a great community of people taking action. I understand your “shoemakers dilemma”. I’m finally getting around to innovating my own business after teaching others to do this for many years.
I’m glad to see you taking action in developing your own online presence – keep up the great work!

    1. Steve,
For many of us, it’s so much easier to help others with our special magic or expertise than it is to use it for ourselves and our own ventures. Thanks for being part of the terrific #blog30 community. Good luck with your own innovating!

  3. I love this article! I agree it’s great to find all these creative people as we travel this blogging road, learning to try various ways to get our messages out and fulfill that inner vision of helping others!

  4. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my new blog post. I just want to tell you that I LOVE your headline: Words that Bring Heart to Your Marketing and Soul to Your Business. I hope you’ve got that copyrighted – it’s worth stealing! Thanks for being a blogging buddy and for the encouragement. This really is fun, isn’t it? We might need to get together and have a blogging challenge reunion – maybe here in Myrtle Beach? Or maybe on a cruise? MMHHHH….

    1. Jeanne, Thank you! It’s so exciting to hear that the subhead hits the button for you. It really is a remarkable group of bloggers, and the intensity of 30 days of daily interactions…It’s really powerful, in ways similar to in-person workshops. This just happens to be virtual. Yummy things to say yes to that you are proposing there!

  5. Bobbye ~

A long time back I CONVINCED myself that all the really successful online marketers were harboring shared secrets behind barred doors.

I would have to say it’s taken me all these years to find ways and means of cracking these nuts! 🙂

I just kept plugging away. I’m stubborn. I visited their blogs, paid (sincere) compliments, posted comments, attended their free teleseminars and webinars, and did whatever I could (professionally and tactfully)to get them to take notice of me. These are circles of influence I knew I needed to enter if I was going to stand a snowball’s chance in hell of making it in the online world.

This might sound a little too simplistic, but I was just being “myself” and staying steadfast in my efforts. It took time – the one thing we all wish we had more of.

    Admire the way you think!

    1. Melanie, Persistence is the answer. I’ve been way scattered for way long. This 30-day blog challenge is wonderful for focusing on this aspect of my biz. I love your approach — saying, “I was just being “myself” and staying steadfast in my efforts.” Authenticity is absolutely key along with the persistence. And the transparency you mentioned in the earlier comment. Now the challenge is to incorporate this along with the things that pay the bills. And maintain our personal energies and momentum.

  6. Thanks Melanie! So you have a jump start of 7 years! Think how great that is! It really is important, I think, to build in that transparency. I know I look at the “big names,” and assume that their businesses emerged fully formed like Athena from the head of Zeus. Part of me knows it’s not true, but fallacies die hard.
Thanks so much for staying in dialogue.

  7. Bobbye ~

I take solace in knowing that I’m not the only person who “waited it out” before creating an online presence. Thank you for your transparency. It means a great deal to me.

It only took me three years! 🙂

Wishing you the very finest of times!
    Melanie
