Card/Image: Passport Wildcard
Meaning: Trust.
Message: You have drawn the Passport Wildcard. When dealt this card, trust. Trust beyond all seeming rational hope and in the face of a possible trickster at play.
When you feel called to a place, situation, or journey, especially relating to a foreign destination, and a surprise obstacle rears up, trust and take the action called for. Expansive options exist, more than you can see. Honor this as initiation.
Consider your journey has begun. Immerse in possibilities. Ask for signs, from the night or the day, and they shall be given.
Backstory: 4 weeks before major international travel, a passport issue appears out of the blue. After the shock, I asked for images from the night, for guidance. I received 3 messages of hope and support: Awakened by a dream image of a “book” flying off a shelf — called “Egypt Air” (our carrier to Cairo); then the image of a pyramid played on the ceiling from a light in another room (that I’d never seen before); then I went out to look at the 2:30 AM stars, and was gifted with a shooting star.
After coming in from outside, I did an active imagination dialogue in my journal with the dream-book,”Egypt Air,” wondering if somewhere in its pages was specific guidance or some suggested action.
A couple of tidbits from its message to me:
“Be blessed with a wealth of signs and messages. For you have said, ‘mine will come to me,’ and so do we call to you … Hold to radical and surrendered trust. … Allow the the invisible and invincible infrastructure to support you. Take the needed steps on all levels as it unfolds. Trust. You are there.”
Result: Simultaneously to the moment I was making the above image/card, I received an email message from the support person I’d reached out to, and learned I have an appointment to attend to the issue, an appointment that wasn’t supposed to even be able to be booked until next Monday.
Added message: Trusting in magic and miracles is like a muscle… Best strengthened through ongoing practice so that it’s in place when you need it.
